Hi!
i want to upgrade my qlikview server 9.0 to new SR1 edition.
Question1: where is the download? i don't find the server at http://www.qlik.com/download/!!!!
Question2: There 's someone who has already done this upgrade? problems?
thanks!
Hi Fabio,
Answer 1: the url is http://community.qlik.com/download.html
Answer 2: We updated our server with this version without problems, I recommend you make a personal instalation (if you are using IIS) and use an administrator account for the Qlikview services (this account must be add to Qlikview administrator group)
Best regards.
now the download exists... i' don't understand.. an site update?
If you are using Internet Information Server (IIS), the standart installation doesn't create the virtual directories in it, so, you have to do a custom installation if you wanna a correct functionality.
The actualization I did was from 8.5 to 9.0 SR1, I had to uninstall the old and configurate the new one after. There are a few changes in the new version (management console), so, you'll have check it out.
Best regards.
Hi,
I want to download qlikview server 9.0 SR1. I sign in by http://community.qlik.com/download.html but I found only desktop version.
What am I expected to do in order to get the server version?
Thanks in advance
Giorgio
I think you should register in Qlik Community with your appropriate rights (Customers, Partners ...) and then sign In before download.
If you're a new prospect I think you can only download the Personal Edition.
We are Partner I&R in Italy... see http://www.qlik.com/contents.aspx?id=4246
Did you create you QlikCommunity Account with your professional mail ?
For example I'm a member of Keyrus, a French Partner of QlikTech. I've create my account with my address xxxxxx.xxxxx@keyrus.com and the next day my partner access was automatically provided by a bot.
If it's still doesn't work, you should ask directly to QlikTech
Regards
Thanks for your response; I will ask directly italian branch of QlikTech.
Thank you so much,
Giorgio
