Dear All,
Our customer is facing cannot open HTML file for section access after they have done Qlikview server migration.
I have tested with localhost address. No issue, but when we change to server name, will facing cannot open html file problem.
http://<ServerName>:4780/QMS/AuthTable ------> cannot open html file.
http://localhost:4780/QMS/AuthTable -------à no issue.
Here is some finding from qlik community, tested but no use.

Thanks for your answer, Marcus.
To me this looks like a permissions problem. Servers are usually very sensitive in what you can and cannot access from the server itself or from another device.
That you cannot access the Authorization table from the server itself using its server name seems logical. Enhanced security usually blocks every access to resources if not using localhost. On average localhost is very permissive.
But since you state that your application should work from another machine, it may as well be firewall related. On your server, is port 4780 open to your local network?
In a couple of days, I can test a comparable situation and provide more feedback.
Peter
I did a small test on two enterprise servers with a document that loads a dummy QMC Section Access table. All tests succeeded, including with localhost, servername and IP-address on the machine running hte QMS, and using servername on another server.
The discerning factor in this setup is that on both machines Windows Firewall has been disabled. Only incorrect accounts can block access...
