Hi Frnz,
I scheduled at 5AM everyday in QlikView Server. 1 Tier only gave error like: Failed to create qlikview engine.
If i schedule after 5 mins, it is reloaded successfully, but if i schedule for tomorrow, it is giving failure.
I have attached log file and Server log status.
Please help me.
Hi tulasiram,
You have two errors there:
1.- Your ODBC cannot connect, it seems that there are an communication error, or an resources error.
2.- Engine error is because there aren't free resources on server to manage this job.
Change your execution hour to early or late, because you haven't some resources at this time.
Regards!!
Hi Frnz,
We have installed sql server data tools SSIS, SQL Server Mangament Studio and QlikView in same machine ( UAT Server ).
Is there any problem ? I think i am getting problem in reloading because of this.
Is it true ? Please let me know Guys ..
Hi tulasiram,
How many memmory has assigned SQL Server?
Regards!
by using this expression: SELECT physical_memory_kb FROM sys.dm_os_sys_info;
I got 67108404 Kb ( 67 GB ).
My server RAM : 64 Gb
Qlikview Application size: 40 MB
So what I can see, you have assigned all system memory to the database server, I think it would be better to limit it and leave at least 10GB for the rest of the system.
Regards!
I think U have some ODBC issue kindly check these are problem i hope
check ur database schedule is going on when u try to trigger through server if its reload is going on chances are there to get the status Failed
and also check weather the same data base is used in another application at the same time when u triggered the application on server then also u have a chance ur reload will get failed after
EG: consider you have sales app and another developer is also using the same sales app and if u both are reloading the app at the same time hitting the database some once applciation will get failed and another person application will take some minutes extra than a usual reload time
