Request to provide details to logon to VMs to install Qlikview Servers

I Would like to consolidate a summary of what activities would need to log onto the servers directly and why? to get access to Virtual machines to start with Qlikview Installation.

I would think you would need to contact the network Administrator for this information.

For Installing, Troubleshooting, Deployment and Monitoring purpose you would require Remote access.

As I need to get the admin access to the systems via Remote desktop connection. I was asked to provide information on activities would need to log onto the servers directly and why?...This gives the Justification for getting access..As far as I know ,I can say that we need to the access to install Qlikview Servers,Post Installation Checks etc..But would like to know further if anything is needed to provide as Justification to get access.

Hi,

Yes you need for below tasks as well.

1) Deploying Applications

2) Scheduling tasks

3) Maintaining access rights in case you don't have publisher.

4) Maintain users in case you don't use active directory.

5) To schedule backup tasks via windows scheduler and many more.
