Folks,
I'm just wondering if you could help me confirming the SSL Certificate Type that we need to use if we want to allow AccessPoint available via https.
Since qlikview is using apache web server, I'm guessing that would be it, but I'd prefer if someone could help me confirming it.
Thank you,
Anton

Are you talking about the out-of-the-box QlikView Web Server? It's not Apache. It uses a bare bones version of IIS.
Gary
Thanks for your quick reply, Gary.
I forgot to mention that I'm using the QV Plugin instead of IIS during the QV Server installation (QVS10 SR3)
Anton
Are you referring to the IE Plugin? That communicates directly to QlikView Server over port 4747, rather than the web ports (80 and 443). Are you trying to install tunneling?
Gary, I apologize for giving wrong information. I choose the WebServer since I don't have IIS installed on the server. So I'm not quite sure if I should use IIS as the SSL Certificate as the option is disabled and it's set to use QVWS as default.
Thanks
Anton
You can confirm that QVWS is installed by looking at your services list - it should have "QlikView Web Server".
I see that you've asked on this thread: http://community.qlik.com/message/125812
In that thread sjoelson gives a few steps he used to set up SSL on QVWS.
You may need to engage QT Support to get the official instructions on how to set up SSL on QVWS. I've tried before and failed and ended up installing IIS, because SSL configuration is a lot easier with IIS.
Gary,
Thanks for your input, I'll try to reach them then.
Cheers,
Anton
