Scripting Server Add/Remove to Cluster/Distribution Service

I have a large QlikView implementation hosted on GCP and am looking to optimize compute instance costs by shutting down services and bringing them back up on a dynamic or scheduled basis.

We add and remove servers from the QlikView cluster and from the distribution services on a monthly basis to support periods of high user load or high report generation.  Today these servers are added or removed manually via the QMC.

Is there a way to do this programmatically via API or via configuration file modification so that these increases/decreases can be done on an automated basis?

Thanks

There is no such ability in QlikView of which I am aware.  You may add the idea at the following Community location:
