Service Account PWD Change

Hello,

In our server environment, we use Service Account to run all the QlikView Services as well as the Management Console.

There will be a pwd change to this Service Account.  Can someone let me know like a list of places that I need to be aware of that I need go and manually change the pwd?

Will the Management Console automatically assume the new pwd once it is changed?

Do I just need to stop and restart the QlikView Services with the new pwd?

Any other places that I may have missed?

Your help is much appreciated!

You need to change the password in every QlikView Service and then restart it.

If you're using IIS you would also need to change the password in the App Pool Identity.

Hi Daniel,

Can you provide the steps for changing the password for App Pool Identity?

Also, are there any changes needed for files related to SSO and Windows AD Authentication?
