Hi,

You get all the services here Start -> Run -> Services.msc.

Qlikview IIS you need to change only for Application Pool Qlikview

Thank you for the reply !

I do not see an option to change password for the QlikView IIS in the application pool. Can you please advise?

Also, are there any steps needed for SSO and Windows AD Authentication for the service account password change?

Hi,

Please follow below Steps

  1. On the Application Pools page, select the application pool for which you want to specify an identity, and then click Advanced Settings in the Actions pane.
  2. For the Identity property, click the ... button to open the Application Pool Identity dialog box.
  3. Select the Custom account option and click Set to open the Set Credentials dialog box. Then type the custom account name in the User name text box, type a password in the Password text box, retype the password in the Confirm password text box, and then click OK.Click OK to dismiss the Application Pool Identity dialog box.

Got it. Thank you!

Just changing the service account passwords for each service and changing the QlikView IIS application pool would suffice or do we have any additional steps/changes for SSO and Windows AD authentication?

I hope this should be fine.

Based on my knowledge SSO should work automatically. Where Windows AD Authentication you are using?

Windows AD Authentication and SSO should pick automatically as per my knowledge. Did you see any where explicitly defined User name and Password for Windows AD

No, I did not see it defined anywhere.

Thanks for you help today. Will mark the answer as correct once we implement the process.
