Should QlikView 12 install on Windows Server 2008 or 2012?

Hi guys,

is there any documentation or whitepaper, stated that, QlikView should install on Windows 2012 or can it be installed on Windows Server 2008 R2??

Any specific reason why QlikView 12 should install on Windows Server 2012 , rather than on older Window Server version like 2008 R2?

What are the Pros. and Cons.??? Anyone here can share the experience?

The online helps says both will do: System Requirements for QlikView ‒ QlikView

If you plan to use this machine exclusively for QlikView, then there aren't any immediate pro's or con's really, except that Win Svr 2K8 will be EOL sooner than the newer Windows.

Both are very stable for small to medium-sized architectures.
