hi,

Is there any tool available to trace Qlikview QMC activities?

Thanks, Manish Madan

What do you mean by "QMC Activities"?

  • If you mean "information reported in the QlikView Management Console, but presented in a more dashboard-like fashion", then yes, there is an application like that. Check out the Governance Dashboard in Qlik Market or on the Qlik Downloads page.
  • If you mean "who is doing things like creating/deleting tasks, assigning/revoking licenses or configuring server components in the QlikView Management Console", then no, there isn't a meta-meta-reporting application yet. Feel free to create one.

Best,

Peter

It seems that Qlik Market is accessible again. Check Qlik Market - QlikView Governance Dashboard

Here are some pointers to get you started.

CAL Manipulations can be read from the QlikView Server Events logs. See Reading CAL Allocation Details

To track Task creation and modification, you'll need to enable the Audit log in the System->Setup->Management Service tab. then you can read the logs that are created from then on (this is not enabled by default). See Check for when/by who a Publisher task was disabled

To Track QMC Activities you can use Audit Logs, You can build a qlikview Dashboard using Audit Logs as a Source to track every Activity of the QMC.
