Upgrading QV V9.07502.8 to 10 or 11

We are well overdue for an application upgrade.  We are currently running V9.07502.8.  Is it recommended to upgrade to V10 first then to 11?  Our goal is to upgrade to V11... I guess V11 SR2.  Are  versions/service release cumulative?

I did find the QV 11 upgrade & migrations document with the different scenarios.  Wanted to see how others handled upgrading from V9.

I would open each qvw with QlikView Developer version 11SR2 (latest package),

After all tests, would go straight to latest version

Thanks for your immediate response.  You have a very good suggestion.

Also, we have no test server.  So this upgrade will be performed on production server.

So I think your suggestion will give us heads up as to what to expect with the applications.

Follow the instructions from the Migration document. It provides a safe way to upgrade from v9 to later releases and documents the product changes along the way.

About releases: in the Migration document, v11 applies to both QV11 and QV11.20 which is a camouflaged continuation of the prior service releases (meaning no structural differences that would make the Migration document invalid). In that context, QV11.20SR12 is the latest release of QV11.

Note that QV11SR2 is already 3 years old.

We faced lot of defects in V11 SR2 then vendor suggested for SR10.
