Hello.
This is probably a stupid question, but I need to ask it in case it's not!
We have users who regularly export data out of our QV apps into Excel so that they can add extra columns to summarise the data. They may need to do this for a quick turnaround. Our manager would rather they didn't do this and has told them that. So they have now asked if there is any way they can put their own data into QlikView, accessed via the browser only. I know there are options that allow people to edit information in QlikView and type values into variables, but is there any way an end user could load a new table of information into QlikView and link it the existing data model? I don't think there is, but can someone confirm that?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks!
you can always create a shared folder accessible by the users and qlikview server, where the users can add their excel sheet there, and your qlikview document will read this excel file at the time of the reload and you can treat it as a normal table in the your schema.
