Web Server 'Loading content' issue

Hi,

We have a scenario, where we are doing a physical server migration.

We have cloned an existing web server and it has to replace the existing one. Please note that the server names are different for both the servers and we are using QVWS.

On setting up the cloned web server in place of the existing one,we get the 'loading content' screen when we try to hit the new access point.

Kindly help.

Hi All,

The .net frame work 4.0 was installed correctly and only QlikViewSettingsService was running in the server. The issue was not with the Qlikview.

The issue was with the IIS settings, Qlikview IIS services were getting stopped every time when the URL link was hit. While debugging, found that both the authentication and authorization were showing red.

So, I had to re-enter the credentials of service account in the Advance Settings of Qlikview IIS Service and it worked.

I've found that when cloning servers it sometimes helps if stop all services and then you go into C:\ProgramData and delete or rename the QVWS folder there.  When you start up the services again it should recreate any necessary folders in this directory.

Hi Bill,

Previously on hitting the server name, the access point was getting displayed. But now on hitting the server name it is showing 403-Error.

But the access point is getting displayed using the following URL: http://server-name/qlikview/index.htm

Could you please suggest what can be done to reconfigure it to the previous state?

Thanks
