managing user access/logs

Hi,

I have limited number of prod licenses available but more people want to use qlikview.

In order to provide better service, if users do not login within past three months, I decided to take their licenses away, Finally, I am on the process to build the Qlikview app to manage user information, but I don't know where to get the user logs to build it.

Can anybody tell me where to get it?

Thanks!

Ryan

Check your Qlikview Server settings under "Logging".

I think the default log location on the server is c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Qliktech\Qvs

Usage information by user can be found in the Session* logs.

You might look and the QlikView Operations Monitor.qvw that is installed with the default installation. This QVW will read the logs and show you information on server performance and users access.
