Hi @Broederke

Refer to the QlikView Server/Publisher Help entry Triggers > On Event from Another Task which states the following:

On Event from Another Task

When the On Event from Another Task trigger type was chosen, the trigger can be configured to start the current task on the event from another task. The following configuration options are available:

Start on

Choose a trigger event, by clicking on one of the following options in the drop-down list:

  • Successful, meaning that the execution of the task was successful
  • Failed, meaning that the execution of the task failed

Completion of

Choose a trigger task, by clicking on one of the options in the drop-down list.

Hi @Broederke,

You can have two triggers for a task.

As @marcus_sommer, this would only be available if QlikView Publisher license has been applied.  If you don't have Publisher, have a look at previous Community post https://community.qlik.com/t5/QlikView-Administration/QVMC-schedule-task-on-both-failure-and-success... as there was an accepted solution.

@sbro   You can setup the Triggers.  A task can have multiple triggers, creating a workflow of tasks. See article for possiblities;

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/May2022/Subsystems/QMC/Content/QV_QMC/QMC_Documents_SourceDocum...

marcus_sommer

Only if you have a publisher licence you could apply multiple trigger to a task. Without the publisher you have only a single trigger available.
