what are the hardware pre-requisites for Qlikview Server?

Hi,

We've estimated the size of server we required for our area, but was wondering if anyone could share a document or provide guidance on what server components should be used? i.e. Qlikview Server will only function with Intel CPU's for example?

I've tried to search for such documents on the main site and within the community, but unfortunately I've now found anything.

You can find the minimum hardware requirements in the QV Server reference manual.

Hi, thanks for your response.

I'm unable to open the QV Server Manual as I'm getting a Jive " page cannot be found error" , which I've now had a few times during the new site.

Ideally the Installation Guide should have it.

I am not sure of its location though.

If the server can run the OS that is listed as a requisite it can run QV Server. You can run it on virtual servers too. In doubt contact your QV Sales representative or QV Partner.

Awesome, I was just slightly concerned we have given the sizing we require to our IT partners but they end up ordering something incompatible.  I think I was just having a minor panic about nothing!
