ADDING AND/OR RELOAD ON TIMER OR A QLIK DATA TO DASHBORD

Reading lots off order line till end off week to qvd , since they do not change anymore

in a new week i read  that qvd , that during that week orders are added or updated

orderlines have a unique key wich goes to qlikview also

i would like to reread and/or add new orderlines to the dashbord and update after that dashbord for changes

either by a timer or manual, or some trigger

is this technical possible or wishfull thinking?

I think Qlik is not a good real-time data displayer, you will have a little latency if you can shorten the reload task using qvds and/or partial reloads. Another option is using direct discovery.

There were an extension to refresh documents but I dont know if it still works. There are some post with another possible solutions:

I think I'm not understanding the question. Why can't you schedule the reload on qmc? another way to schedule reloads in using a bat or cmd executed using a windows scheduled task

its a real-time working envirement

users need to see even when they are not at their work space for a while after return  automaticly any changes in the system
