ARGB to RGB

Hi all.

I have ARGB color values that I need to convert to RGB :

ARGB(128, 255, 0, 0) to RGB(?, ?, ?)

alpha value 128 means 50% opacity for red in the above example. To what RGB does this correspond?

Thank you.

That depends on the color of the object below the object with color ARGB(128, 255, 0, 0). Against a white background it's 255,127,127.

Hi Gysbert.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, background is white. Is there a formula to calculate this, as alpha is dynamic and not always 128?
