Hi Azam, thanks for linking this thread. I have seen this thread... i am looking out for the format or syntax to be put under properties --> Number--> Money--> format pattern

It would be great if you could help me out with the syntax

Hi,

As the post mentions because the symbol has changed recently, font support is not universal and you need to make sure that you have the appropariate font set installed (and so do your users).

An update to support the new currency symbol for the Indian Rupee in Windows Vista, in Windows Serve...

But if that is ok, then you just need to copy and paste the symbol in. Taking the previous rupee symbol as an example:

Copy it from here:

And just paste it into your format:

#,##0.00; -#,##0.00

You could also use

INR#,##0.00;-INR#,##0.00
