Alternate State - Select in Field

Hi all,

I'm discovering the alternate state-function.

I have created a textbox with a trigger. And If I clik on the textbox he should select a value in a field in State1.

How can I do this? How should I define the "field"?

Ehm... there's a Dropdown box in your second screenshot... "Alternate State". There you can specify the alternate state in which you want to do your selection.

The Field setting should contain the field name of the field in which the value should be selected. The alternate state setting (also on the Actions tab) is where you specify in which alternate state the selection should be applied.

Thanks.

I didn't see that drop-downbox...

It's working fine now.

And an other question.

I'm analysing a customer and I've selected a customer.

How can I select the same customer in State1 and State2 if I go to the tab with the alternate states?

Add 2 separate "Select in Field" triggers.

I'm trying with a trigger in the sheet-properties "On Activate Sheet"

How should I Define the trigger?

The triggers are already defined. You can find the sheet triggers on the Triggers tab of the sheets properties window. You can add actions to the triggers in the same way you can add actions to other triggers and buttons/text boxes etc.
