Alternate States data in charts

Hi,

I would like to compare between  identical events which take place in different calendar periods, using alternate states.

The issue I have is with displaying the dates of each state as expressions in a pivot table.

For each state, I would like to show the relevat date and the total amount ordered.

I attach the document I'm working on.

Thanks in Advance!

Anne

Hi Petter,

The idea of giving a day number instead of the actual date is a nice idea!

In case the user insists on having the actual dates, then we are in trouble, right?..

No, it is easy to have a day# and the associated date too. They just have to be separate fields so they will have to be shown in separate columns. Using the day# as a dimension and the relevant date for the relevant year in an expression as a measure does the trick.
