Analysis of Monthly Closing Stock

Dear Experts,

We are developing Analysis of Closing stock where the data is taken from SAP.

But in SAP Tables, closing stock for some periods is not updated as there is no movement of material.

For Example, in Material 3 closing stock of 12-2013 is not available, in such case we want to take value of immediate previous month which is 11-2013 & value is 77.

SIMILARLY, for Material 4 closing stock of 12-2013 is not available, hence we want to take value of immediate previous month which is 08-2013 & Value is 88.

Hence the Total Closing Stock for 12-2013 (in Group2) will be 165.

Tried hard but failed to achieve the results.

Requesting to show some light in this issue. It will be great if some thing can be done in load only.

Many thanks for the solution.

Your solution helped us a lot for the same situtation.

Now with reference to the application attached by you -

Consider an example of Group_1->Mat1->2013->10 which gives me closing_stock of 11.

"Now I need your help to fill the same value "11" in the previous months i.e. Jan to Sept 2013 ."

Also same applies for eg - Group_2->Mat2->2013->5.

All the previous months should show value of "5"
