Average number of orders placed in a month

Hi 

Is it possible to report on the average number of orders placed in a Month from rolling 12 months?

For example 

Jan 40

Feb 50

Mar 40

The rolling average would be 43

Do you mean 12 months back from today?

Thanks for the example. I would like a single value. Using your example if the current month was March 16 the value would read 23,33
