Calculate sales amount by month or YTD

I need to show the bar chart with current year sales and last year sales.

If the sales month is not selected, the bar chart should display the YTD and LYTD sales amount.

If the sales month is selected, the bar chart should display the total sales amount for the month of current year and last year.

Please help.
