Hi all,
I have a scenario where I need to calculate the variance and populate as a Dimension
For ex:
i need to populate data as shown in the below Picture. I have each color as my dimension and i have measures Cost, Weight and Count
Now I need to calculate variance variamce = total-(red + blue+ black+brown+Yellow+Pink+Green).
Kindly reply asap.
Thanks in advance
May be as below: (Please see the attached for the .qvw file)
Is this a straight table or pivot table you are looking to get this done in?
May be as below: (Please see the attached for the .qvw file)
looking to do in Stariaght table.
But we might not get always Zeros for the Variance
Can you provide a sample where you get a variance ? So that it will help us to get a solution..
I am not Sure. We will do Expression total as Total Mode under Expression tab for each expression. Thereby it calcultes the Total Field. And the Cost, Weight fro each dimension will be calculated and atlast Variance need to be done.
It worked.
Thanks
Ok. Glad able to help you...
