Can I recover my script from a corrupted QVW???

I have a big problem where my non-backed up document got corrupted. It has a ton of script in it that I need to recover.

Is it possible to somehow recover or export the script without actually opening the document?

Does "Open without data" work? Plus, always, always, always have a backup copy!

However, there is a secret menu that allows you to set various flags:

Open Qlikview

Click About

Right Click on the QV 'eye'

You then get a hidden list

Scroll down to ScriptRescue

Set this value to 1

Save and close qlikview

Try to open your document
