Can some one explain me the concept of generic reload?

I was trying to understand generic reload..could some one attch an example

Hey Balraj,

Well in order to understand generic load, you must know generic databases.

A generic database is a table in which the field names are stored as field values in one column, while the field values

are stored in a second. Generic databases are usually used for attributes of different objects.

QlikView solves this problem in an elegant way. If data is stored in the compact way shown above, you can

choose between the two different ways of displaying the data. QlikView automatically creates several logical

tables from the generic database.
