Can we translate French to English the data in QlikView?

Hi All,

I have some of data in the Product table( Product Name) stored in french as my suppliers are from France. In my Data visualization, I have to show all the french products in English to my end users.

Is it possible in QlikView ?

I am using SQL Server Database to extract the data into QlikView so, I would be also happy that if i could do it in the SQL query

According to way I know ,

all you could do is create different tables and  input there resp data. No direct option 

(I used buttons for viewing purpose only! )

I suppose you have to do it manually. I don't think this is possible through any function.

Hi,

Yes you can translate French to English.

But for this you have to translage French to English in One Mappling Table and then use this to replace the data.

It is Manual Task.

I couldn't do it manually as my data is so huge and everyday we add new data from different suppliers.

I would expected automatic process.

There is no other way to do it. Only Manual Work is the option.
