Change cursor shape

Is there a way to change the mouse pointer shape in qlikview level. In windows , we are able to change mouse pointer.

(hand tool, arrow, plus ). I have a requiremnet to change display to hand tool instead of arrow.

I can't imagine that this is possible to do at the QV level being that the cursor is a component of the OS.

Hi,

You may be able to do it if you're working with QlikView Mash-ups (Workbench). That way, you can build a customized webpage using QlikView Objects and adding some cool effects like changing cursor (using CSS).

However, I don't think this can be achieved in normal QV applications, unless you modifiy some of the CSS that are included in this path:

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Web

Those .css files are used for formatting inside QV Apps that are hosted in AccesPoint. However I've never tested if modifying this css files makes some effect in QV applications, but you can give it a try (don't forget to make backups of any file you modify in case something goes wrong),

Thank you, Jaime.  I will look into that.  We are creating a portal page that will display either objects or a whole sheet from QlikView.  We may use iFrames or Workbench, so your ideas may prove useful.
