Changing the default browser engine for web view mode

Is IE the default browser engine used in QlikView 'web view' mode? If so, is it possible to use a different browser engine as we have a script referencing the D3 libraries that runs within firefox and chrome but not in IE. When debugging the QlikView Extension Object within QlikView the control does not render although the HTML and Scripts are shown in the debug window.

Yes, the HTML engine used by IE is the WebView rendering engine.

I don't think you can swap this engine for something else. But just like Microsoft told us a few years ago that IE could not be untied from Windows, someone may have succeeded in tying in Gekko or the Chrome engine in the QV Desktop. You never know

You can´t change default browser from QV.exe

What you can do is publish your extension and you app to a QlikView Server and debug from Access Point
