Client initiated refresh

Hello,

I have a app that is loaded frequently on the server (between 5-30 min). I want the user to be notified when there is a newer version of the document available. The user should then be able to initiate the refresh. This all seemed straight forward but the notification doesn't work. How do I enable this?

The answer is:

On the server there is a checkbox: "Allow only one copy of document in memory" - uncheck this and it works .
