Every time I come to this site, I have to reset my password as I don't know what my password is.
This is because the site will not allow me to choose my own choice of password as I used it once before, so I have to make one up that I never remember on my next visit and round and round in a loop it goes, like ground hog day, every time I come to the site.
Can this feature be turned off so I can pick a password I will remember for your site that is secure enough for your site, but is one I have used before.

After many many times of changing my password, this time it has allowed me to go back to one I will remember.
I am not sure if this is something that has been changed or because I have changed my password so many times, the old password dropped off the previous password list.
Either way, it is now resolved and I can start using the website again.

does your browser offer you to save password for sites?
They are cleared out each day as part of the firms security.
But does allow me to log in for the rest of the day, until they are cleared.
My underlying problem though is with the website not allowing the use of a previous password, just because it was used before. I don't see the logic of that and no other site I have come across does this. If the password meets your requirements, it shouldn't matter that I used it before.
Well, I have seen this requirement on passwords (i.e. that it was not used before) a couple of times and I can see why that may be benefitial (though you can discuss a lot about password requirements).
Besides this, I think this forum is the wrong place to post your request.

But since Qlik uses single-sign-on, even the community forum admin is not the master of the process here.
Maybe contact qoncierge@qlik.com if you think that your request needs attention by the Qlik password admins.
