Continuation of a line/value

Hello All,

I have a value that I produce in my load script using peek and previous which I would like to show on a chart, the problem is when I run out of data to calculate the changes the value will stop.. What I would like to do, is, if there's no further records then to use the last value and make the line go flat (for whatever period is selected by the user).

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm hoping it's an easy one!

Just an idea:

In your balance expression, check for existing record, then either use your previous result using above() function or calculate your balance. If you post some more details or a small sample app, someone might help you with the syntax, too.

Many thanks for your response - I've created a simplied version of my application (please find attached). I tried using above() but I could only get it to display the week before, whereas ideally I would to see the value for whatever timescale selected.
