I aggreagate Historic Sales Data into QVD files Weekly so I have 52 Files for the Current year, and I have sales QVD's that need to go back 5 years I currently have 2 and the qvw's are getting sluggish when not filtered. They get loaded with a For Each Loop across the QVD Folder.
This discussion isnt about loading less or summarised data. Transactional data at full detail is needed.
has anyone come up with a method to give the user controll over how much History is loaded when the doc is server Hosted ? (im not too bothered who and when a user changes the load and its affect on other users)
Ie: a list box of Files in Folder, pick a date and a reload of all selected Data Occurs, or a link to a copy document is re-loaded with the selected dates.
