Copy & Paste multiple linked objects

Hello,

In QlikView is there are way to copy multiple objects at the same time & paste them as linked objects?  I've built a dashboard that has filters (list boxes) in the left column; each sheet in the dashboard will have the same filters.  I want to copy all the list boxes from one sheet and paste them into the next sheet; the benefit of pasting them as linked objects is if I make a change to a list box on one sheet, the change will be made on all the sheets.

if you want you need to duplicate the entire sheet and remove the objects which you don't want.

Yes I can do that but I will not have the benefit of pasting them as linked objects- therefore i need to make any change to every sheet if I am working on a global filter changes.

Exactly,

if you want to be global changes paste it as a linked object only there is no otherway.

if you want to reuse the objects means you can  duplicate the sheet.

In QV, if the sheet you are copying contains linked objects, than the copied sheet will contain linked objects. So the flow is generally like this:

1. Create a 'Template" sheet that contains your common listboxes, current selections, search, logo etc.

2. To create a new sheet from the template, use the Ctrl-a, Ctrl-C, Paste Sheet object as link method.

3. For the next sheet, you can use the right-click "copy sheet" option on Template. The new sheet will have linked objects because the source sheet -- Template -- has linked objects at this point in time.
