Count Function

Hi All

I currently have a field with concatenated fields consisting of Job Grades.

I would like to have a count function in the field to indicate the number of each job grade found in the field.

e.g Current:

                               [All Job Grades]

Senior Manager| Assistant Manager| Accociate Director| Senior Manager

Desired:

                              [All Job Grades]

           Senior Manager(2)| Assistant Manager(1)| Associate Director(1)

How can I do this?

Hi Tumelo,

Take [All Job Grade] as dimension in straight chart.

Exp:

count([All Job Grade]

Hope it works.

Hi,

your data set is not clear.. please upload some sample data..

Other wise you can try the expression below.

='Senior Manager'&count({<[All Job Grades]={'Senior Manager'}>}emp_id)&'| Assistant Manager '&count({<[All Job Grades]={'Assistant Manager'}>}emp_id)& ' | Associate Director '&count({<[All Job Grades]={'Associate Director'}>}emp_id)
