Create Excel Report

I want to create an excel report with excel formulas that read from a table created via a qlikview script. The Qlik Community documentation explains that NPrinting is the way to create an excel report.  I'm not even sure that I have this function in my version of Qlikview.  I have the following version: Qlikview 11.20.12018.0 SR3 64-bit Edition (x64).  Is NPrinting an available tool in this software version.  If so, how do I access NPrinting.

NPrinting is a separate product you would need to buy from Qlik:  Qlik NPrinting | Qlik

I called a Qlikview sales agent who informed me that NPrinting is considered to be an older method for generating reports for most of their customers and that using dashboards via Qlikview Enterprise Named User is the preferred method now.  Any high-level comments on the pros and cons ?  Minimum cost of NPrinting is $35,000, so that's one con I know compare license fee for Enterprise.  Apart from cost are there pros and cons ?

Hello David,

Trust that you are doing well!

I agree with Nicole and Andrew about NPrinting requirement. BTW, You can create a Qlik report and apply Excel equivalent formulas in Qlik using expressions. Post that you can export report to excel (as mentioned by Suresh).

Could you please provide further details about the requirement? This will help us to give you expected inputs.

Regards!
Rahul

My current process for creating an excel report is as follows:

1.  Reload Script - Reload script in Retention by Policy Life (version2).qvw.  This script reads from the following two files: Active_Current.csv and Term_Current.csv.  The script then creates a file called Qlikview Data.csv.

2.  Create Excel Report - I copy Qlikview Data.csv into an excel spreadsheet called Retention_022817 (Qlikviewcase).xls.  The excel worksheets contain excel formulas that generate the report.

I would like to do what Rahul Pawar has suggested, creating excel formulas in a Qlik report in Qlik.  I don't know how to do this.
