Create Report Template - "Import" isn't working

Hi,

I have a problem with creating a Report "Template".
I created a report with a header and footer - a "layout with two jpg-files.
I saved the report and exported it to my desktop (xml-file).
Now, if I'm opening a new qlv-file and will import that xml-file (that i have the "Layout" done), the two jpg-files aren't showing up correctly.

Here's the picture what I'm seeing:

error loading image

How can i export btw. import such a file, that the two pictures showing up correctly?

Is there another way to save a "Report-Template" or I am doing anything wrong?

Thanks for help!

Any Ideas?

I have never made templates in QV so this might be a far shot, but have you loaded your pictures into the application. I would think that should be necessary.

your images are contained in text objects which are not included in the report but in the document in which the template has been created

when you create a new document, those text objects do not exist, thus your report is rendering with error messages

you should look at the report settings dialog box, there are options to set header and/or footer to a report, as well as defining margins and all that stuff
