Creating case history out of SAP SolMan exports

Hi guys and girls!

Se attachement.

We are daily dumping all incidents out of SAP SolMan and I am trying to make this into a nice report for my testlead.

The lifespan of one specific incident runs from the first entry (pr StatusDato) until it gets the status "Closed" or "Canceled". I want to remove all entires after the first date which one ID gets this status.

How can i accomplish that in the most effective way?

Best regards

Trond E

Hi,

Check the Attachments..

I created the QVD file based on your qvw file. Then i created the Deleted Flag.

And, i removed the repeated 'Cancled' and 'Closed' status..

Let us know, if it is not your requirement..

Hi And thank you for your sollution. This community continues to be the best ever

The sollution was really simpel, I was trying something along those lines myself without success.

What I really want to accomplish is that I want to measure the number of open incidents for any given StatusDato with the correct status. (From created date to closed/canceled date). Maybe by using SCD Type 2 vaild_from/valid_to or populating all records for all dates in the appropriate timespan.

If you have any clues to point me in the right direction I would be glad.

Thanks again.

Best regards

Trond Erik
