I am new to Design in QV...i have a chart that currently includes the department and date i am looking at. However, when i select 2 or more departments my title doesn't show ANY departments. How can i have all my currently selected departments included in my chart title?
It is a bar chart and yes month is a dimension...The monthly totals show
within the chart, when I show them as a label on the axis and have 3
months selected, all 3 totals show on the axis...I would like to show
the sum of all months selected as a label on the axis...or even as a
text box within the chart...
I am not authorized to upload the file because of the financial info...
Hope you can still help...

Hi,
I understand your problem, But can you just take a screenshot of the chart and tell me what you want to show and where..

I would like to see combined totals for each Actual, 2011 Budget,
Variance.
Thanks
Karen
Hi,
Here is an Example.
Hope this is what you want,

Thanks for trying...but that doesn't work.
I need totals for actual spend, budget and variance totaled by the
months selected. Was looking to keep the data in the same format; with
the addition of the individual totals included
Actual $499,950 Budget
$414,239 Variance $(857)
Of course I would need this to be dynamic and able to incorporate
however many months I select...
Thanks again
Karen
Hi, I included an artificial dimension for that.
Check if it works for you .

HI there - a different take on current selections is demonstrated in this shared QlikView:

The link above has been moved to the following location:
http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-4290
The example shows a text box that gives details of the currently selected fields, which when clicked shows a standard current selections box. This can then be hidden again when finished with.
