In short:

DMS mode is used for Authorization. Meaning you can do settings here for what application should be visible to whom.

So once you set the DMS mode, you must set the user name under Authorization Tab.

So after applying the DMS mode, do following things.

Go to Document Tab -> Click on the Application -> Right hand side you will see Authorization Tab. -> Click on the + sign here -> Add the user who is authorized to see the application in Access point.

Thanks,

AS

DMS mode is only available in Enterprise Edition QlikView Servers. However, you do not need a Publisher to use fine grained security management.

If you have an EE QVS, and you have put it in DMS mode, open QMC->Documents->User Documents->QVS->Select a document from the tree. On the right side, a tab called "Authorization" becomes available where you can assign access to documents to any user. No more messing with NTFS security dialogs. You can do it all in QMC now.

Click the green +-button in the top right corner. A user selection dialog will open. Read the QMC Help for more information on how to add Users.

Do not forget to click Apply before leaving the Authorization tab. Otherwise your selections will be lost.
