Hi ,

I am new to qlikview . This probabaly is a basic design question.

I hvae 4 fact table related to each other by commmon dimension but at different granular levels.

Hence i have Qlikview relating all the tables which is relsuting in Cartesian products and hence amplified data.

What I need is a way to unlink the 4 fact table without having to rename the common dimesnsion.As in the dashboard i need to put these common dimention ( say date) as an input for the user , which should return data/metric from all the 4 fact tables at once.

Please any suggestions!!

Hi,

Better you can concatenate all this fact table into single table and maintain the fact table flag table also for the references.

Thanks for your reply.

But is there any other way apart from merging 4 fact tables into one as then this model will be very specific to this dashboard and any future addition to this table will be diificult.
