Good Afternoon,
I'm trying to get the dimension limits to work on a very simple straight table but I cannot understand what this option is doing.
I want Qlikview to return me thoose rows that aggregated sums up to the 80% of the total of the rows.
I have different results using qlikview capability or an embeded formula to manual calculate the limit.
Could someone help me?
Not sure why using an expression based solution a not good option for a table with 20 expressions? Although it does compromise some efficiency, but you get much better control over the expression compared to the inbuilt capability .
Compromise a little bit the performance in a really huge dashboard it's not just a bit...trust me.
nothing i did, just I unchecked the property.
I agree ... I hope qv_testing's technique work for you....
Wich property?
Look at this
it seems that Dimension Limits are not going to give you any performance benefit here

Really, really wierd. Just opened your document. Copied the table, unchecked the limit option and checked it again.
Then it's not working anymore.
Maybe it's a bug of my qlikview version?
I'm using 12.10.20500.0 SR7
Any light here?
I am using SR6.... I had the same issue
Just checked with QV 11 and it's working... QV 12 Bug detected
