I was wondering if it possible to disable the cache in Qlikview Desktop? I am doing some testing on the amount of time that my chart's take to process and I would like to know worst case scenario. I believe to best way to check this would be to make sure the charts are not using the cache? Does anyone know if this is possible?
I don't know of a way to disable the cache. However, I can think of two ways to CLEAR the cache. First, close down QlikView and bring it up again. Second, run a macro, any macro, since macros clear the cache.
There might be some setting somewhere for how much memory the cache is allowed to use that could be zeroed out.

It doesn't?! Well, that's new! And good (except for cases like this). Wonder how they got around it. Probably better detection for if the macro would invalidate the cache or not. Hmmm.
When I'm testing performance, I generally close down QlikView and bring it back up between every test. Looks like I could save myself some time by fiddling with my cache settings instead. Thanks, Johan.
