Displaying info (images, symbols) in a text object

Hi guys,

I would like to know how I can display info - in this case images - in a text object. I have a number of files images (.bmp) that I would like to link to a list box in my QlikView doc. My objective is to display the related image to my selection in a list box.

I'm new to QlikView and to the Community.

Be aware that there are serious bugs in QlikView 12 SR1 when it comes to images being displayed. They don't appear in charts but in text objects in Desktop Client and IE-plugin - but the opposite is the case in WebView and full browser (Ajax-client). So image display is seriously broken.

Thanks Sunny. I tried it and this worked but something very weird happened. My assignment is to display the flag of the selected country. But for only 2 countries, another flag appeared when I clicked on it. Do you have any idea what happened? I don't think France and Italy will be happy to have the Belgium flag displayed.

Thanks Mika. I used your tutorial and that works. However, I used my set of flags and 2 countries ( France and Italy) did not display the correct flags. Why? See the picture below. your thoughts?
