Hi Mansi,

Go to: Chart Properties --> Sort --> Then try selecting the few options which are used to sort. I am sure you will get the required result.

If not please attach the application I will try to find it out!

Hi Mansi,

You are welcome but no need to be too formal. This is the place were we need to help each other!

Actually speaking this is not the expected behavior of the document. I never faced these kinds of issue till now. Chances are there that if the users of document are allowed to do sorting then could have happen. So are your user are have those rights in the document?

Hi Rikab,

In the chart i have used the sorting expression.

How can i verify that the user has sorting right or not.

Are these rights are provided at the deployment time or these rights needs to be set by the developer.

Thanks in advance.

I assume it's the gray "X" that you're talking about? I get that occasionally. I haven't really noticed a pattern yet, other than I feel like it's happening more in more complicated charts with more data. It has not generally been repeatable for me, in the sense that if I recalculate the chart with the green icon in the corner, or close and reopen the file, or close and reopen QlikView, or reboot my machine, the problem usually goes away. It's probably something simple, perhaps just some setting somewhere, or that I need more memory on my machine, but I've never tracked it down.

Thanks John.

Regarding this gray X issue i want to add my concerns. If you any clue.

Now I am using 8.5 Qlikview development version. When i am creating a chart with drill down group, then for most of the data it is displaying the gray X and if i am using cyclic group it is displaying data perfectly fine. Is there any possibility the drill down group is not supported in 8.5 version.

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

I have made the changes so that gray X is not appeared now.

While creating group i made a check for empaty data. Please look in to attached QVW file.

Now issue is coming that proper coloring and sorting is not displayed.

This issue is coming in version 8.5.

Please Let me know the issue and how to resolve it.

Thanks in advance
