Document chaining in Qlikview

Hi ,

i am trying to create a document chaining in QlikView

i created it successfully in my local desktop , verified too its opening in my desktop
but on QMC when i am trying to access its popping out an  error
"Failed to open the document, File not found"

i followed the same process as in below pic 1 yet i am getting the error on QMC  only as on pic 2

Hi,

Make sure that the document you want to open resides in same location as that of first one.

If not you can even use url action instead.

i had done that too
yet the same error i used the location of the app where it is sitting

and note i am able to do it on my personal pc, i am able to call a qvw with in a qvw on local machine

but the same is not working on QMC

Hi,

If the second document is in a different mounted folder, try using:

../MountedFolder/Document2.qvw

or

MountedFolder\Document2.qvw

Hi,

On server are both documents resides on the same folder?

open your second application via access point now copy url

now open first document in Qlikview desktop use action as openurl and paste the url you copied earlier.

Try and let me know if that worked.

If you are trying n access point its look for user documents (publish folder) and make sure that other document also publsihed to same folder or not ?
