Does adding dropdown select in Tabular chart affect performance?

Hello,

Scenario - I have 5 Tabular charts in my dashboard. Each tabular chart having 15 dimensions and 4-5 measures. Data volume is 10 million records.

Requirement - Business users are asking to add dropdown select for all fields in the Tabular chart.

Problem - Will it degrade performance of the dashboard ? I tried adding dropdown to 5-6 dimensions, however, not much change in performance. Please suggest. Thank you.

Adding a dropdown selection in the chart should not affect performance. But having 15 dimensions in a chart most certainly will.
