I have a qvw that when I open it it clears any selection made when it was previously opened, but I do not want them cleared.
I have checked that there are no triggers, any ideas what else might be clearing the selections?

Is this happening in the access point? or the client?

I know such behavior from section access and I must by some apps set default selections per OnOpen-Trigger.

The qvw I got from somebody else to use as a starting point. It did have Section Access but I removed it all, so perhaps it is legacy from that.
It needs to remember selections from last usage so setting selection on Open would not be suitable

You say opened "In the QV Desktop" but do you open the physical QVW or the dashboard through "Open in Server".
There are several triggers possible on document level but have you checked the sheet properties ?

Have you all sa removed, the document-settings, too? For a nasty workaround you could the last selections store in variable and select then from these values ...
Did you check for field or variable triggers?
What document settings should I check to make sure Section Access is fully removed ?

There are setting in document properties within the tab open (left side). Have you made a reload after removing sa - without sa is further active.
