Doubts regarding License

Hey,

I have some doubts:

1: Qlikview Desktop and Qlikview server each has separate Licenses or If we have Qlikview Server License then Qlikview Desktop can    be converted to Licensed.

2: What is leasing the license from the server to Qlikview Desktop ?

Hi,

1. Yes thr will be different license for both desktop & server

2. If you have server license then you will take lease from server like below it will depend on your CALs if CAls are not utilized then you will get lease from server

& along with passward

2. License can be lease through Name Cals user credential.

1: Do you mean to say that If i am using Qlikview Desktop free version and Licensed Qlikview Server then by Licensed Qlikview Server i can make my Qlikview Desktop free version as licensed ?  IS it so??

2: and also if i am having Named License then only License can be lease ?? No other type of license will help in leasing ?

Yes i was wrong qliktech provide desktop license separately but better to purchase server if you need it for small business level.
